Alexandra Arias

Alexandra Arias is a Panamanian architect and designer working at the intersection of space and object. An alumna of the University of Southern California (Architecture) and the Royal College of Art (MA Design Products), her practice spans interior architecture and collectible design. Her work has been exhibited at the design weeks of Milan, Paris, and London, as well as Copenhagen’s 3DaysOfDesign. Notably, her Melt series was nominated for the 2024 Dezeen Awards in the Furniture Design category.
Alexandra is also the founder and creative director of Stoa Studio. Her approach is rooted in sensitivity and experimentation. Working across scales — from intimate objects to spatial experiences — she creates work that reflects her way of seeing the world: a celebration of craftsmanship, sensorial design, and the rituals that give meaning to everyday life.
