Andrea Flores and Lucía Soto have been designing together since 2010. In 2014, they founded Comité de Proyectos, a company dedicated to interior design and furniture sales, based in Mexico City.
What they enjoy most about their work is translating emotions and sensations into utilitarian objects and living spaces—an act of internalization. They strive to create transcendent, durable, and timeless pieces with a contemporary style, collaborating closely with craft workshops.
Together with their team of designers and artisans, they have developed three collections of sculptural objects that have been exhibited in museums and galleries in Mexico and abroad. They also offer an extensive catalog of furniture for both residential and commercial use.
Their approach is a constant flow between the subjective and the functional, the artisanal and the commercial, technique and art.
