GALOF is a design studio based in Buenos Aires founded in 2021 by architect Noelia Garcia Lofredo. It was created as a space dedicated to reflection and experimentation around objects for contemporary living.
Each collection develops a particular technical-conceptual idea. Some of its designs explore their capacity for addition and transformation, providing a wide compositional diversity. Others present pieces with formal searches of greater autonomy, dissociating everyday uses from their traditional forms.
All developed pieces manifest a cross-cutting idea: enabling a free and creative appropriation by users and, at the same time, a rigorous focus on technical precision that arises from collaboration with experienced workshops in the local industry.
