Based between London and Copenhagen, Matteo Fogale is a furniture and product designer working across interiors, installations, and creative and strategic consultancy. His practice is guided by a commitment to honest, premium materials, functionality, and longevity, reinterpreting everyday objects with a distinctive and iconic presence. Born in Montevideo and educated in Italy, Fogale trained at the Art School Leonardo da Vinci and IUAV University of Venice before collaborating with internationally renowned studios such as Patricia Urquiola, Nichetto & Partners, Barber & Osgerby, and MAP Project Office.
Since 2018, his work has expanded through exhibitions, curatorial projects, and collaborations with international brands including Carl Hansen & Son, &Tradition, and Nine. Alongside his design practice, Fogale has lectured at leading UK institutions and continues to work as a consultant in design and product development. His work has been recognized with a Wallpaper* Design Award and a Design Guild Mark.
