Industrial designer, director and founder of the Chilean design studio Rodrigo Bravo.

Most of his designs stand out because of the conceptual input he integrates to every single object, together with his own vision on techniques, materials and the idea of territoriality in the field of design define a methodology and approach for each design project.

In the area of product design, has moved in various fields, such as watchmaking, lighting and domestic products. Some of them with production outside of Chile, such as Mexico, Switzerland and China.

His work has also been selected and exhibited in the main exhibitions and contemporary design shows, such as Spazio Rossana Orlandi (Milan), DesignJunction (London), Stockholm Furniture Fair (Stockholm), Salone del Mobile (Milan), WantedDesign York), Chamber Gallery (New York), IberoAmerican Biennial of Design / BID (Madrid) and Praxis Gallery (Buenos Aires), Galería Mponoambiente (Buenos Aires), Sight Unseen OFFSITE (New York), QTS (Buenos Aires), Nomad Venice (Venice), MATTER (New York) among others.

Recently his work has been selected by Phaidon Press, in conjunction with a specialized curatorial team, in the book Designed for Life (Phaidon Press, 2024), which highlights the 100 best designers of today.

In addition to his work in the area of product design, objects and furniture, he is the founder of Area, an editorial unit dedicated to the experimental development of arts, architecture, design and music, curator of the Area / SOUNDHALL section as well.

Founder of Ediciones Mármol and founder and creative director of Habitar Magazine since 2021.

Professor since 2012 at Local Design Workshop, Diego Portales University Design School.
