Taking its name from the iridescent beetle, Cétoine is a tribute to the organic architecture of nature, envisioned by Colombian designer Alejandra Perini in collaboration with Spanish studio Kiwi Bravo. The piece is the result of a photographic study of the sacred exoskeleton, exploring the beetle’s duality: a symbol of resurrection and a master of transformation. Just as a shell shifts its hue and purpose depending on the light, Cétoine challenges the viewer's perspective.

More than a stool, Cétoine is an exercise in fluid geometry. Designed to be experienced in motion, the silhouette evolves as you move around it, echoing the camouflaging grace of its namesake creating a rhythmic, architectural presence. This specific colorway has been developed as a limited edition, curated exclusively for Holder.
