DESCRIPTION
After being under the guidance of Jean Prouvé in France, the Chilean architect Juan Ignacio Baixas design the Puzzle Chair in 1975. This chair is highly functional and sculptural in quality. Crafted from 12 wooden pieces and tensioned fabric to achieve ergonomic comfort.
The chair's construction uses only wood and canvas, without adhesives or metal elements. Its visible assemblies have been designed to allow the chair to be easily assembled and disassembled. Its tensioned canvas surfaces accommodate the body comfortably and give structural rigidity to the whole.
