This stool is the first physical prototype of the Bond Series, a collection of furniture and wall objects made out of ACP (aluminum composite panels), also known as Dibond. What captured my attention is the fact that this versatile and ubiquitous material typically reaches landfills well before the end of its life cycle and at the same time, is extremely durable, resistant and adaptable.

ACP is in an away, the marriage between two of the most widespread, advanced and energy-in-tensive materials humanity has been able to come up with. The pieces in this collection are an attempt to map the possibilities and conflicts hidden within it. All the plates that make up the B01 stool have been reclaimed from film industry waste.
