The Bond Series B01 stool is the first prototype in a collection made from reclaimed ACP (Aluminum Composite Panels), also known as Dibond, a durable material often discarded prematurely.

The collection explores the possibilities and conflicts within this advanced material.

All plates for the B01 stool were sourced from film industry waste found at the Haus der Materialisierung.

Designed in 1973 by Argentinian designer Ricardo Blanco.

The chair transforms itself from a flat board into a three-dimensional object. Blanco’s goal was to craft a folding chair with minimal thickness when closed; he added a hole at the top of the chair so that it can be hung from the wall.

In 2024, it was selected to be part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York (MoMA).
