The Mush Collection by Kilzi: Quiet Growth and Layered Light.
Born in Venezuela to a Spanish father and Syrian mother, Jorge Suárez Kilzi draws from a life of continuous migration and his background in acclaimed Japanese architectural firms (SANAA and Junya Ishigami) to conceptualize The Mush Collection.
Inspired by the quiet growth of mushrooms in nature, this family of softly sculptural luminaires translates natural forms into living, tactile objects. Handcrafted in Spain through a delicate layering of fiberglass, resin, and organic fibers, each piece develops a translucent, paper-like surface.
Intimate Scale and Tactile Warmth.
The most compact iteration of the family captures the organic essence of layered fiberglass in a lightweight 1.1kg body. Designed for side tables or desk surfaces, it emits a soft ambient glow that highlights the delicate fiber shifting across its surface.
